For real Chinese, make it Queens for a day

For many visitors to New York, a trip to Chinatown means heading to Lower Manhattan. But the city has another Chinatown in Flushing, Queens, not as well-known, but just as vibrant. It's a fun place to spend a day exploring, shopping and, above all, eating.

Celebration will move ship from Lauderdale to Palm Beach

Celebration Cruise Line, whose one ship, the 500-cabin Bahamas Celebration, has sailed between Port Everglades and Nassau for the last 10 months, plans to move to the Port of Palm Beach starting March 1, according to a tentative deal between port and company officials.

Silversea’s newest ship’s a true classic

Dock at St. Barts and it's hard to turn down the locally-made skin products and latest haute couture from France. And there are few shopping districts more pleasurable for strolling than historic San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Fortaleza Street has specialty shops that carry caretas, papier-mché Carnival masks with demonic horns and wild expressions.

South Florida ports host a winter armada of cruise ships

It's bonanza time for South Floridians looking for a cruise this winter. From weekends in the Caribbean to world tours, more ships are sailing to more destinations from Port Everglades and the Port of Miami than ever before — and it's all come to a peak this season.
