GoWaza makes travel search-by-location easy

A new travel site (www.gowaza.com) has integrated your travel search on one dashboard and map.  You can search by a city, address, zip or airport and GoWaza shows you options for hotels, restaurants events, flights and cars all at once.  You can even upload your contacts and display them on the map.  With one click, you can add any travel item to your Trip Folder.  This is where GoWaza has really improved travel search.  Each item in the Trip Folder is now in an anchor list below the map.  You can click on any anchor and the entire search will re-orient around the new address.  All of the distances will update to show you the closest hotels, restaurants and events.  So if you’re trying to decide whether to stay near the airport or near your client, you can quickly toggle back and forth

  Or if you’re flying into a multi-airport city like Chicago, you can quickly evaluate whether it would be easier to fly into Midway or O’Hare.  You don’t have to re-run your search or open up a separate map and cut and paste addresses to figure out where to stay.

The Trip Folder is also a great feature for group travel planning.  You can add a few hotels, restaurants and flights to the map and then e-mail it out to your friends.  They will instantly have a list of travel options including pop-up directions between items and a map that allows them to toggle between anchors.  If they don’t like your choices, they can update the Trip Folder and send it back to you.

Hopefully GoWaza will send a message to those other travel sites that we’re all tired of opening multiple browsers just to plan one trip.
