I pretty sure in saying I have not been to a decent theme park in the UK. I have been to all of the regulars that people coming into the country go too and other than being a rip off with not many rides and rude staff I cannot see the appeal at all. Yet when I go off to Florida and visit the theme parks there I see everyone having a good time, no one moaning at staff and most importantly, not a single wear word can be heard which is great considering the amount of kids at these places.
So in Europe we have Euro Disney right? If you are looking for a theme park (or two) to visit then the two at Disneyland Paris are very good indeed. There is a universal; studios park in Spain but I believe the Disney ones are better. If you think about the USA then there are hundreds of theme parks jotted about the country and whilst I cannot say Disney is the best, it is the most visited and very good indeed.
In
the UK I think we are in need of a bit of Disney Magic. The main reason that they chose to put the park in Paris is because it is very central to the rest of Europe, I will say that having it in the United Kingdom would have been a very good thing indeed. The problem is that Florida receives a lot of UK tourists and I am not sure the UK design would have matched Florida so perhaps it was not such a great idea after all.
In the end there are a few okay theme parks in the UK and there are many things to do such as spa breaks one of those UK family holidays and of course even dancing holidays.
Even without that Magic there is still a lot to be done in the UK.
