- How much would you pay for extra legroom? Beginning March 17, Continental Airlines will offer its emergency exit row seats to passengers who select it, but for a price. According to Gadling, USA Today quotes a fee of $59 for an emergency exit row seat on a flight from Newark to Houston. Is a few extra inches of legroom really worth the price? [Gadling]
- Three cheers to Amtrak! All of Amtrak's Acela trains now offer free Wi-Fi, and passengers departing from Washington's Union Station, Baltimore Penn Station, New York Penn Station, Philadelphia 30th Street Station, Boston's Route 128 Station, and Providence Station will have access to a free wireless signal at the gate. No word yet on how long the Wi-Fi will be offered for free, but it's a start. Now if only Amtrak started offering trips for a dollar. [Jaunted]
