Speaking of movies, this year's foreign film nominees for the Oscars were screened at National Geographic headquarters last weekend, just as they have been for the past three years. Our brother and sister bloggers at Pop Omnivore watched the films and posted nutshell reviews with relevant clips, explaining what each title means and revealing one Oscar-worthy moment in each.

So even if you haven't actually seen Un prophète from France, AJAMI from Israel or The Milk of Sorrow from Peru, you'll probably know more about them than your friends.
